The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, at least four years in Lean Manufacturing, and a proven ability to run Kaizen events, map processes, analyze data, and coach staff.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer to spearhead Lean implementation initiatives within their facilities in Queenstown . This role is central to fostering a culture of continuous improvement by applying Lean principles and methodologies to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational efficiency. You will work closely with production teams, supervisors, and management to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and ensure the successful integration of Lean practices. This hands-on position requires strong analytical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication to effectively engage and train personnel at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and implementation of Lean tools and techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban) to eliminate waste and improve workflow.
• Analyze production data to identify key areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Develop and document standardized work procedures and best practices to ensure consistent operational performance.
• Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.
• Train and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles and their application in daily operations.
