Job summary

Absa Bank Limited is seeking an accomplished deal structuring executive to originate, shape and execute complex Trade and Working Capital opportunities for Financial Institutions, Corporate and Institutional clients. You will lead high-impact, client-centred initiatives balancing risk, return and strategic value while strengthening our Transactional Banking presence across Africa.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking, Law or related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification or professional banking/treasury/trade finance credential advantageous.

Responsibilities

Identify high-value opportunities with Sales and Coverage and grow revenue.
Translate strategy into executable transactions to strengthen the franchise.
Build trusted client relationships and understand operating models and needs.
Bring subject-matter expertise to client discussions, workshops and negotiations.
Deliver integrated solutions with Product, Sales, Credit, Legal and Compliance.
Coordinate complex stakeholder inputs and maintain momentum through the transaction lifecycle.
Track market trends and client needs to sharpen propositions and create value.
Influence senior stakeholders across Transactional Banking, Coverage and Product.
Ensure governance and compliance throughout origination to execution.
