The role requires formal culinary qualifications, strong leadership, and the ability to manage inventory, costs and events while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with planning menus, specials and events.
• Oversee high-quality dish preparation and consistency.
• Train junior kitchen staff and foster teamwork.
• Maintain HACCP hygiene and safety standards.
• Control stock, reduce wastage and manage costs.
• Support menu costing and equipment upkeep.
• Deputize for Head Chef when needed.
