Edge Executive Search Group is assisting a well-established organization in Limpopo to find a dedicated Sous Chef for their culinary team. The role focuses on leading daily kitchen operations across service areas and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

You will oversee dish preparation, train staff, manage portions, and coordinate peak service while adhering to SOPs and HACCP standards. Competitive remuneration and growth opportunities are offered.

Formación

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience coordinating kitchen operations and staff supervision.
• Familiarity with HACCP and OHSA standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations across all service areas.
• Prepare and oversee dish execution during service.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Coordinate efficient service during peak periods.
• Supervise, mentor, and support kitchen staff.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene, safety procedures, and HACCP standards.
• Assist with stock ordering, receiving and verification.
• Monitor portion control and waste minimisation.
