Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Site Civil Engineer to manage construction activities in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will supervise site teams, coordinate daily operations, and ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and safety standards on active sites.

The role requires a National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering with at least four years of site supervision experience. Strong drawing interpretation, leadership, and organizational skills are essential to deliver major

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on civil engineering sites.
Ensure work is carried out safely, in accordance with project plans, specifications, and relevant standards.
Monitor progress, coordinate labor and equipment, and resolve site issues promptly.
Conduct quality control checks and testing to ensure materials and workmanship meet requirements.
Maintain site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety logs.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
