Job summary

Placements24 seeks an innovative Information Security Architect (Remote-First) to lead the design of a Zero Trust security architecture across cloud and on-prem environments. You will drive security standards, mentor teams, and steer strategic security initiatives with a focus on reducing trust and continually verifying access from Mossel Bay, Western Cape to global teams.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in information security, 4–5 years in architecture, and holds advanced security

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in information security.
• 8–10 years in information security with 4–5 years in architecture/design.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks and IAM/SO S PAM concepts.
• Experience securing cloud and on-prem environments; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a Zero Trust security architecture.
• Define controls for IAM, MFA, SSO, PAM and data protection.
• Evaluate security technologies aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed security across lifecycle.
• Develop security roadmaps and architectural standards.
• Lead security reviews for solutions and projects.
