Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a senior Lead Security Architect specializing in Zero Trust to design and guide the company’s enterprise-wide security framework. This fully remote, senior role emphasizes strategic influence and hands-on architectural leadership across the fintech landscape.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in information security architecture, with at least 3 years in Zero Trust, and strong IAM/PAM, cloud security, and threat modeling skills. PhD is a plus, CISSP/CCSP desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS or Cybersecurity required.
• 10+ years of progressive information security architecture experience.
• Minimum 3 years focused on Zero Trust principles.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale Zero Trust architectures.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, PAM, network, endpoint and cloud security.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of a Zero Trust security model across the enterprise.
• Define security policies, standards, and reference architectures for Zero Trust.
• Evaluate and select security technologies to support Zero Trust.
• Develop IAM, micro-segmentation, and continuous monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams for seamless integration of Zero Trust controls.
• Provide technical leadership to security engineers and architects.
• Conduct security reviews and assessments of new systems and apps.
• Stay ahead of threats and translate best practices into actionable plans.
