Placements24 seeks a highly analytical and experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their construction team in Tembisa, Gauteng. This hybrid role balances on-site engagement with remote analysis, overseeing costs from initial calculations to final figures and providing financial guidance to project teams for profitability.

With 7+ years of QS experience and strong contract administration knowledge (FIDIC), you will drive procurement strategies, manage budgets, and prepare detailed cost reports

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Proven ability in contract administration and knowledge of FIDIC.
• Proficiency with cost management software and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Manage tendering processes: contract preparation, negotiation, and award.
• Monitor expenditure against budget; identify variances and implement cost controls.
• Conduct site visits to verify interim and final payments.
• Advise on procurement strategies and contract administration.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare cost reports for senior management and clients.
