The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, extensive QS experience, and proficiency with cost estimating software and Excel.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• > Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with leadership capabilities.
• > In-depth knowledge of construction costs, contracts (JBCC, NEC), and procurement methods.
• > Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• > Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.
• Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.
• Administer construction contracts, including managing variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
• Identify and manage project risks related to cost and contractual obligations.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
