You will prepare estimates, manage contracts, review bills of quantities, and provide financial reporting to keep projects on budget and on time. A degree in QS or related field and 7+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in quantity surveying; at least 2 years in lead/senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost management.
• Experience in tender preparation and evaluation for large-scale projects.

• Excellent negotiation and analytical problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng , working on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time. This role involves providing expertise in cost management, contract administration, and tender evaluation, playing a pivotal role in the financial success of our construction ventures. You will lead a team of quantity surveyors and collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize project profitability and value.

Key Responsibilities
