Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years in industrial engineering with plant layout focus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and layout simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of material handling, ergonomics, and safety standards.
- Experience leading projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry required.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of new plant layouts and modifications.
- Create 2D/3D CAD models and simulations of layouts.
- Perform site assessments and analyze data to guide design.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management on space needs.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for projects.
- Evaluate equipment specs and placement to optimize processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and design staff.
