Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in credit analysis, risk management, or lending, preferably in Banking & Finance.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team of analysts.
• In-depth knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and various credit assessment methodologies.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, economic principles, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel Accords).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the credit analysis team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and refine credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and in-depth credit analysis on loan applicants, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and market assessments.
• Assess creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit structures, terms, and collateral.
• Monitor the credit quality of the existing loan portfolio, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings and recommendations to the Credit Committee and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support profitable growth while managing risk effectively.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
