Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Chemical Process Engineer to spearhead development and optimization across Centurion facilities. You will guide a high‑performing team, drive process innovations, and ensure safe, sustainable operations across complex projects from concept to completion.

The role requires a Ph.D./M.S. in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of leadership experience, strong modeling and process control expertise, and a proven track record in large-scale project delivery

Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master’s in Chemical Engineering with strong academic/research background.
>10 years progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with leadership/senior tech roles.
Proven track record managing large-scale chemical process projects and teams.
Expertise in process simulation, modeling, and advanced control strategies.
In-depth knowledge of chemical plant operations, safety protocols (PSM), and environmental regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced chemical processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Manage and mentor a team of chemical process engineers, fostering growth.
Oversee scale-up of new processes from lab to production, managing risks and budgets.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
Develop and implement robust process safety management systems.
Provide expert technical consultation to cross-functional teams (operations, R&D, project management).
