About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their Building Information Modeling initiatives from their remote operations hub, serving projects in the Richards Bay area and beyond. This pivotal role involves setting BIM standards, managing BIM models, and ensuring seamless integration across project lifecycles. You will champion the adoption and effective use of BIM technology, driving efficiency and collaboration among design and construction teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans and company-wide BIM standards and protocols.
• Lead and manage the BIM process for complex architectural projects, ensuring model integrity and data accuracy.
• Coordinate BIM models with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Oversee the creation and management of BIM content libraries.
• Conduct clash detection analysis and facilitate resolution of interdisciplinary coordination issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in BIM or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural practice, with at least 5 years focused on BIM implementation and management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms.
• Proven experience in developing and enforcing BIM standards.
