Job summary

Placements24 in Rustenburg, North West, seeks a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance activities and supervise technicians on-site. You will diagnose complex issues across hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics and engines, ensuring safety and airworthiness in line with SACAA requirements.

This role offers a hands-on environment in our on-site maintenance facility where you will drive continuous improvement and mentor technicians while maintaining meticulous records and coordinating

Qualifications

• Valid AME licence recognized in South Africa.
• 8+ years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, heavy/line maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, engines and complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on multiple aircraft types.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide work.
• Ensure maintenance complies with SACAA and company standards.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians and manage records.
