Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Aircraft Engineering is required.
• At least 7 years in aircraft maintenance with 3+ years in a senior/supervisory role.
• Strong troubleshooting across engines, airframes, avionics, and hydraulics.
• Solid knowledge of SACAA regulations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft types, following manuals and airworthiness directives.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and avionic system faults.
• Document maintenance actions accurately in logbooks and maintenance system.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, ensuring high standards of work.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Coordinate with flight operations, QA, and suppliers to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on aviation regulations and best practices relevant to aircraft maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at the Bloemfontein facility.
