Qualifications
- AME license with ratings relevant to fleet (e.g., B1/B2).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft line maintenance.
- Proven troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems.
- Knowledge of SACAA regulations and required documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on various aircraft types, adhering to manufacturer manuals and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and servicing of aircraft systems including avionics, hydraulics, powerplants, and structures.
- Interpret manuals, blueprints and schematics to diagnose faults.
- Document maintenance actions, findings and steps in logs and systems.
- Collaborate with flight crew to understand and address defects.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety policies.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians; provide guidance.
- Manage spare parts inventory and requisitions for line maintenance.
- Participate in incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to safety standards.
