Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for the Rustenburg, North West facility. You will lead a team of aircraft technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to airworthiness standards on-site.

The role requires a strong leader with deep knowledge of aircraft systems and SACAA regulations, capable of mentoring the maintenance crew and upholding quality and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified AMT license or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum 6 years in aircraft maintenance with 2+ years in supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems across multiple types.
• Solid understanding of SACAA regulations and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance technicians to complete tasks efficiently.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and overhaul per data and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safety regulations, policies, and quality standards are met.
• Schedule maintenance activities, personnel, and resources.
• Inspect work for quality and accuracy; maintain records and logs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff.
