Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Last Mile Delivery Specialist to support our expanding e-commerce and delivery operations from Centurion, Gauteng. The role is contractor-based and involves local travel, accurate on-time deliveries, and professional customer interactions.

You will plan routes, scan deliveries, collect signatures or payments when required, and maintain vehicle and delivery records while upholding safety standards and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver’s license (Code 08 or higher) with a good driving record.
• Proven delivery driving experience, preferably in last-mile or courier services.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning apps.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for positive customer interactions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable personal vehicle suitable for deliveries (preferred, but company vehicles may be available).
• Smartphone with data capabilities for delivery app usage.

You will be the face of the company to our valued customers, providing a positive and professional delivery experience. We are seeking individuals with excellent navigation skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This position offers the flexibility of a contractor role, ideal for experienced delivery professionals. The operational base is in Centurion, Gauteng, but the nature of the role involves extensive local travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute timely and efficient delivery of packages and goods to customer locations.
• Plan daily delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company guidelines.
• Ensure accurate scanning and tracking of all delivered items using provided technology.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including professional interaction and problem resolution.
