Placements24 is seeking energetic Last-Mile Delivery Drivers for a part-time role in Sandton, Gauteng. You will operate a company van, navigate routes within Sandton and surrounding suburbs, and ensure packages are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates hold a valid Code 8+ drivers license with a clean record, experience in last-mile delivery, and solid knowledge of the Sandton area.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license (Code 8 or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver, preferably in last-mile logistics or with a similar vehicle.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 kg.

Responsibilities

This role focuses on the final stage of the delivery process, ensuring packages reach customers efficiently and in excellent condition. You will be operating a company van and navigating routes within the **Sandton** area and surrounding suburbs. Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
• Conduct routine inspections of the company delivery vehicle and document/report any issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service during the delivery process, interacting politely and professionally.
• Collect payments from clients when required, handling cash or card transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and confirmation of deliveries through digital means.
• Report any issues encountered during deliveries, such as delays or problems with addresses, to dispatch.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.

Requirements
