Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Land Surveyor to undertake cadastral and engineering surveys across the Northern Cape, measuring land boundaries and topography for diverse projects.

You will work autonomously or in project teams, using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser scanners, and prepare survey plans and reports.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, SAGC registration, and four years of experience are preferred to ensure high-precision spatial data.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Surveying or Geomatics.
• Professional SAGC registration.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in cadastral and engineering surveying.
• Proficiency with land surveying software and data processing techniques.
• Experience with various surveying technologies and methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple survey tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and setting-out for construction projects.
• Utilize advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and laser scanners.
