Responsibilities

• Execute routine checks on laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure accurate balances and set temperatures.
• Collect, preserve, store and label all samples received in the laboratory to maintain sample integrity.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 17025 quality standards during sample preparation and report issues related to contamination or deviations.
• Prepare and weigh samples according to set specifications and protocols to minimise deviations.
• Utilise well-established procedures for fluxing, XRF sample preparation, and wet chemistry to enable reliable analysis.
