Job summary

Aeciminingchemicals in Sasolburg seeks a Laboratory Technical Superintendent to direct the laboratory function within the manufacturing facility. You will ensure analytical services are accurate, reliable, timely and fit for purpose to support safe and efficient operations.

You will lead method validation, equipment integrity, quality systems and staff development, collaborating with Production, Quality, Process Engineering and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a laboratory environment and people management.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with laboratory quality systems and analytical methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the laboratory team.
• Ensure analytical capability supports current and future manufacturing processes.
• Review and approve analytical methods, changes and procedures.
• Lead root-cause investigations and support investigations into OOS/OOT results.
• Maintain and improve the laboratory quality management system.
