SafetySA in Cape Town is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Prep Assistant to support sample, media and reagent preparation, handling, storage and disposal in line with ISO 17025 and OHS requirements. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment to ensure accurate testing and timely turnaround of results.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare samples, media, and reagents for routine laboratory testing.
• Handle storage and disposal of samples and reagents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Perform duties in accordance with ISO 17025 quality requirements.
• Support turnaround time targets and report delays.
• Assist with upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain stock levels of consumables and manage costs.
• Participate in training and competency assessments.
• Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to SHEQ procedures and wear PPE.
