Job summary

The Stellenbosch Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Sculler to keep the kitchen clean, well-maintained and compliant with hygiene standards. This hourly paid, on-site role supports the kitchen team and maintains clean inventory, ensuring all areas meet high cleanliness standards.

You will work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with a dependable record, good teamwork and attention to safety. The position offers an empowering environment, benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Matric/NQF 4 is required.
• At least 1 year in a kitchen or scullery is advantageous.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, floors, work areas and storage spaces.
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware and utensils.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and manage waste systems.
• Store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
