Job summary

Kempston Recruitment client seeks a Junior Site Manager to oversee one site in Qonce (King William's Town). You will manage forecourt, shop and AP centers, ensure daily sales are banked and GP margins are controlled.

Requirements include Matric/Grade 12 and a valid driver's license; management and fuel industry knowledge is advantageous. You will lead staff, handle compliance, stock, and reporting to Head Office as required.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Management experience is beneficial, fuel industry knowledge an advantage.

Responsibilities

• General site overview: administration and operations for forecourt, shop and related profit centers.
• Staff welfare, recruitment, discipline, rosters and staff issues.
• Fuel and shop sales management.
• Gross profit margin management.
• Stock management including shrinkage, wastage, ordering and merchandising.
• Ensure daily sales are accounted for and banked intact.
• Asset management and maintenance.
• Compliance with franchise, head office and legal regulations.
• Reporting to head office daily, weekly, monthly or as required.
• All-encompassing duties as needed beyond listed responsibilities.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Junior Site Manager to manage one of their sites in Qonce (King William's Town)

The Employee’s roles and responsibilities will be the following, but not limited thereto:

• General Site Overview: Administration and Operational management and control over the Forecourt, Shop and all other Alternate Profit Centers at the Sites.
• Staff welfare, recruitment, discipline, rosters, and any other staff related issues that are required.
• Fuel and shop sales management
• Gross Profit Margin Management.
• Stock Management and Control, including, but not limited to; shrinkage, wastage, ordering, merchandising etc.
• Ensure Daily Sales are all accounted for and "Banked intact".
• Asset management - accounted for and maintained.
• Compliance - ensuring all Franchise Compliance requirements are met for Franchises that may be included at any of the sites. Including customer service, complaints and / any other customer related issues.
• Compliance with Head Office, Statutory and any other Legal Regulations.
• Reporting to Head Office as and when required (daily, weekly, monthly, incidents, etc.)
• All-encompassing and not limited to the above scope of work.
