Job summary

Kontak Recruitment in Johannesburg South, Gauteng, is seeking a Junior Sales and Planning Coordinator. You will provide administrative, planning, and coordination support across Sales, Production, Despatch and Management.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive and able to manage orders, deadlines, follow-ups and reporting with limited supervision. This permanent role offers a monthly salary from R8,000 to R10,000.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent completed.
• A relevant qualification in Sales, Administration, Planning or Business Management would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, planning or coordination would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant business systems.
• Able to capture and maintain accurate information.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to Sales.
• Capture, process and monitor customer orders.
• Check order information and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate order requirements between Sales, Production, Despatch and Management.
• Assist with production and delivery planning.
• Monitor order progress and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Keep Sales and Management informed of order statuses, delays and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and planning records.
• Update spreadsheets, internal systems and planning schedules.
• Assist with customer queries and provide accurate feedback regarding orders.
• Follow up with the relevant departments to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Identify potential delays and communicate them proactively.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales, order and planning reports.
• Provide general administrative assistance to Sales and Management as required
