Job summary

Tailormade Solution in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Project Co-Ordinator to provide project administration and coordination support within the Small Works division. You will assist from order receipt through invoicing, while also supporting stock, purchasing, SAP administration and logistics activities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years' experience within an electrical manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a panel manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge and practical experience using an ERP system such as SAP.
• Matric is advantageous.
• A recognised qualification in Supply Chain will be advantageous.
• Experience in stores and inventory handling will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project administration and coordination support for Small Works projects.
• Process and monitor customer orders and update order status.
• Load sales orders and create job numbers on SAP.
• Order Bills of Materials (BOMs) and project consumables.
• Generate purchase orders and follow up on required materials.
• Expedite materials to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Process stock receipts and capture information accurately on SAP.
• Create sales orders and sales order transfers.
• Request new stock codes where required.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Assist with stock labelling, storage and housekeeping.
• Pick stock for allocated jobs.
• Coordinate order dispatches.
• Liaise with the Logistics Department regarding stock-related matters.
• Prepare invoices, dispatch notes and delivery notes.
• Assist with customer credit facility approvals and payment queries.
• Process creditor reconciliations for payment.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments and divisions to support smooth project execution.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.
