Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification required.
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Administration, Planning or Business Management preferred.
• Experience in sales administration, order processing, planning or coordination preferred.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant business systems.
• Able to capture and maintain accurate information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proactive follow-ups and completing outstanding tasks.
• Able to compile accurate sales, order and planning reports.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Sales department.
• Capture, process and monitor customer orders.
• Check order information and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate order requirements between Sales, Production, Despatch and Management.
• Assist with production and delivery planning.
• Monitor order progress and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Keep Sales and Management informed of order statuses, delays and potential risks.
• Maintain accurate customer, order and planning records.
• Update spreadsheets, internal systems and planning schedules.
• Assist with customer queries and provide accurate feedback regarding orders.
• Follow up with the relevant departments to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Identify potential delays and communicate them proactively.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales, order and planning reports.
• Provide general administrative assistance to Sales and Management as required.
