Job summary

Triton Express (Pty) Ltd in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Receiving and Dispatch Controller to manage waybills, client communications, and dispatch processes. You will ensure data accuracy, prepare quotations, and coordinate collections and deliveries in a busy freight environment.

The role requires Grade 12, 2 years clerical experience, and basic warehouse procedures understanding. This is a permanent, on-site position with a market-related salary.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 2 years general clerical experience.
• Basic understanding of warehousing procedures.
• Basic understanding of Freightware or similar systems.
• Freight Management system preferred.
• Computer operation skills.
• Basic customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture / distribute waybills and POD data.
• Issue agent waybill numbers, print manifests and obtain signatures.
• Enter client waybill and delivery requirement details in Freightware.
• Provide client quotations.
• Coordinate client pickups, verify waybills, receive payments and release goods.
• Monitor daily/route-based collections and issue instructions.
