Job summary

Triton Express (Pty) Ltd in Middelburg is seeking a Junior Driver for Heavy Motor Vehicle 2T/4T to join our road freight logistics team. You will distribute and collect cargo, assist with loading and offloading, and complete daily delivery and collection sheets.

Requirements include Grade 12, 1–2 years driving experience, valid code 10 license, PDP, good English, and the ability to work 06h00–16h00 with overtime when required. This is a permanent position with market related pay.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
• 1–2 years driving experience preferred
• Valid unendorsed code 10 driver’s license
• Valid PDP
• Good geographical knowledge of the Johannesburg area
• Ability to work under pressure
• A good command of the English language both verbally and written
• Ability to communicate both internally and externally
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work 06h00 – 16h00
• Ability to work overtime as and when required due to clients requirements
• Reliable
• A high degree of integrity required
• Presentable and of a professional manner at all times
• Own transport to and from work

• Vehicle fault reporting – as an when required

• Ensuring that the addresses given for deliveries / collections is correct
• Ensuring that contact is kept with depot at all times
• Ensuring that no deviations from delivery / collection sheets takes place without authorization
