Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and dispatching of goods and ensure all movements are accurately recorded.
• Coordinate the preparation, picking and staging of goods for delivery.
• Assist with loading and offloading vehicles and ensure goods are handled correctly.
• Monitor the movement of stock through the warehouse and report delays or operational issues.
• Check incoming and outgoing goods against relevant documentation.
• Capture and maintain accurate records of stock movements.
• Assist with regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure goods are correctly labelled, identified and stored.
• Record damaged, returned or short-delivered goods and bring discrepancies to management’s attention.

An established and busy operation is seeking a hands-on, organised and energetic Junior Warehouse Controller to assist with the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with receiving, stock control, picking, staging, loading and dispatch, while ensuring that goods are handled accurately, safely and efficiently.

Salary: R10 000 to R15 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience.
