Placements24 is seeking a Junior Network Support Technician in Soweto. You will provide first-level support for network connectivity, assist with basic maintenance tasks, and work under guidance from senior technicians to develop practical networking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; IT certification is a plus.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi‑Fi.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS; basic office apps.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level network support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN issues.
• Install and test routers, switches and access points.
• Monitor network performance and document issues.
• Assist with deployment and maintenance in Soweto.
