Placements24, on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client, seeks a Junior Management Accountant in Centurion, Gauteng. You will work with the senior team on financial planning, reporting, and analysis, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, budgeting support, GL reconciliations, and cost/inventory analysis. A strong willingness to learn and develop within finance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of management accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial statements, and variance analyses.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Process journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Help in the preparation of cost accounting reports.
• Assist with inventory valuation and analysis.
• Support the finance team in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset registers.
• Contribute to the development of financial models.
