Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in manufacturing, production or maintenance is advantageous.
• Basic welding and steel fabrication experience is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machinery is advantageous.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous.
• Basic electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Computer literacy (MS Office) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist with minor machine repairs and breakdowns.
• Report equipment faults and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with basic fabrication, welding, and workshop tasks.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the workshop and maintenance areas.
• Complete maintenance checklists and basic documentation.
• Assist with machinery installations and maintenance projects as required.
• Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with basic welding, cutting, and grinding activities under supervision.
• Assist with the repair and maintenance of machine guards, frames, and related equipment.
• Safely use maintenance and workshop tools and equipment.
• Support senior maintenance personnel with fabrication and workshop tasks as required.
• Assist with the preparation of materials and components for maintenance and repair work.
• Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to support daily operational requirements.

Requirements

• Basicunderstanding of mechanical systems and machinery
  
• Knowledgeof hydraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous
