Job summary

My Client, an established legal firm, seeks a detail-oriented Junior Conveyancer and Notary with 2–3 years' experience to join their Paarl team. The role covers conveyancing and notarial duties with a focus on client service to clients and financial institutions.

Requirements include LLB, Admitted Conveyancer & Notary Public, and 2+ years post-admission conveyancing in bonds and transfers. Travel to signature locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required for initial qualifying considerations.
• LLB Degree from an accredited University is required.
• Admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public status is required.
• 2-3 years related conveyancing experience is required.
• 2 years post-admission conveyancing experience in bond and transfer registrations.
• Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for signature of documents.

Responsibilities

• Attending to signature of transfer and bond documents for all major banks.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Conducting signature of documents at Paarl, Durbanville and client locations.
• Preparing and registering long-term lease agreements (notarial leases) and provide legal advice.
• Preparing and registered ante-nuptial contracts and provide legal advice and other notarial work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing conveyancing and notarial duties, while delivering a high standard of service to clients and financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification - LLB Degree from an accredited University
• Admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public
• 2-3 years related experience.
• 2 years post-admission conveyancing experience in both bond and transfer registrations.
• Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for signature of documents.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Attending to signature of transfer and bond documents for all major banks.
