This role is central to handling all aspects of property transfers, bond registrations, and related legal documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and legally compliant property transactions for a diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end process of property transfers, including drafting deeds of sale and transfer documents.
- Handle the registration of mortgage bonds with the relevant deeds office.
- Liaise with financial institutions, estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions.
- Provide notarial services, including the drafting and execution of notarial deeds and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant property law regulations and conveyancing best practices.
- Maintain accurate client records and manage trust accounts effectively.
Requirements
- Admitted Attorney or candidate attorney with conveyancing and notarial admission.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in conveyancing and notarial practice.
- Proficiency in using relevant conveyancing software and deeds office systems.
- Thorough understanding of the Deeds Registries Act and related legislation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
