Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and check temperatures.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grilles, microwaves, and fryers; monitor food quality during prep.
• Set-up and break down work station; maintain cleanliness of kitchen area and tools.
• Follow safety policies; report maintenance needs and safety concerns to supervisor.
• Ensure uniformity and personal appearance aligned with hotel standards; protect assets.
• Stand, walk, or reach overhead for extended periods; handle objects up to 25 pounds.
