Eskort requires an accounting professional to support financial operations at our Irene/ Gauteng site. You will handle month-end journals, reconciliations and trial balances, and prepare management reports for factory leadership.

The role involves CAPEX administration, SARS tax calculations, and maintaining accounting systems like SAGE Evolution with Excel proficiency. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) completed.
• Tertiary qualification or current studies in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience in a financial environment with creditors and debtors.

Responsabilités

• Month-end journals, reconciliations and trial balance review.
• Prepare dimension reports and provide feedback to factory General Managers.
• Load payments, transfers and beneficiaries on online banking; post journals in SAGE Evolution.
• Manage CAPEX numbers and payments; assist with LOC applications and import payments.
• Compile management accounts for smaller group companies up to audit.
• Calculate and submit VAT, Income Tax and Provisional Tax (SARS).
• Manage insurance claims and related administration.
• Oversee Quantum Lean benchmarks and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Assist with adhoc tasks and audit-related work.
