Job summary

Humankind in Cape Town is seeking a Senior Accountant who is newly qualified as a CA(SA) to join a multinational nutritional company. You will grow within a dynamic accounting environment, thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Key responsibilities include managing the Fixed Asset Register, WiP calculations, IFRS 16 reporting, payroll reconciliations, inventory movement, CoS analysis, VAT and tax compliance, and month-end support.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Fixed Asset Register, including CAPEX planning and depreciation.
• Perform Work in Progress (WiP) calculations.
• Handle IFRS 16 reporting and reconciliations.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and related provisions.
• Oversee inventory movement and Cost of Sales (CoS) analysis.
• Manage VAT and Income Tax compliance.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
• Prepare and review management accounts and support month-end processes.
