Job summary

HGS is seeking a Jr HR Officer to onboard and support a 250+ team in a fast-paced Cape Town contact centre. You’ll handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and statutory reporting, guiding managers through HR policies and labour law compliance.

You’ll thrive in a coaching culture, stay compliant, and drive engagement with a focus on confidentiality and best practices. This on-site role offers growth within a global employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR within a Contact Centre or BPO environment supporting 250+ employees.
• Knowledge of South African labour laws and CCMA processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees and managers.
• HR qualification or certification.

• Do you have experience in HR within a Contact Centre or BPO environment supporting 250+ employees?
• Are you confident navigating South African labour laws and handling disciplinary processes, including CCMA?
• Can you manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality?
• Do you have strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees and managers at all levels?
• Do you hold a relevant HR qualification or certification?
