Job summary

Responsibilities

• Shadow a mentor to support the SHE department.
• Assist in compiling HIRA’s and Aspect Impact for areas.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with OHS Act, NEMA, Air Quality and Waste management; develop mitigation measures.
• Assist with environmental monitoring (boreholes, dust and effluents).
• Assist in closing findings after internal audits, inspections and certification audits.
• Assist with compiling monthly reports.
• Assist with contractor management – safety files and site access.

Responsibilities

• Shadows a mentor on tasks to be able to support the SHE department.
• Assist the mentor with compiling HIRA’s and Aspect Impact for their respective areas.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with the legal and other related requirements (OHS Act, NEMA, Air Quality and Waste management) and develop measures to address/mitigate risks.
• Assist with Environmental monitoring (Boreholes, Dust and Effluents etc.).
• Assist in the closing of findings after internal audits, Inspections and certification audits.
• Assist with compiling Monthly reports.
• Assist with Contractor management – safety files and access to site.
