Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town seeks an IT Technician to support offices in the Western Cape. The role covers user support, device lifecycle management, and incident resolution across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will work with Directors, lawyers and staff, providing professional IT assistance, managing AD/AAD, VPNs, and Microsoft 365 apps, while helping improve processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Grade 12; 2–4+ years in a corporate IT support environment.
• Experience assisting users in person and remotely.
• Proficient in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 support.
• Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V and VMware.
• Strong knowledge of AD, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and SMTP.
• Experience supporting Teams, SharePoint and Exchange Online.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• End-user device lifecycle management and ticket-based support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, M365 and related apps; log issues clearly.
• Administer AD, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy; manage access reviews.
• Support VPNs, LAN/WAN, and wireless networks; assist with incident resolution.
• Liaise with vendors for repairs, warranties and escalations; document solutions.
