Job summary

Headhunters seeks an IT Support Engineer to install, maintain, and support hardware, software, and network systems across the business. You will diagnose issues, respond to tickets quickly, and guide users on technical matters.

Required are an IT degree or diploma, strong Windows/Linux knowledge, M365/Azure/Intune experience, and familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V, IT security, and budget-aware decisions. Join a collaborative IT team ensuring reliable operations.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of computer systems, networking principles, and IT infrastructure.
Practical experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of networking principles and infrastructure.
Experience or exposure to Microsoft 365 administration, Azure and Intune.
Knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V environments.
Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
Ability to evaluate technical solutions within business and budget constraints.
Microsoft certification would be advantageous.
Cisco, VMware, or other relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and support hardware, software, and network systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user-support issues.
Respond promptly to technical support requests.
Keep users informed of technical issues and resolution progress.
Provide clear technical guidance and training to users where required.
Document support activities, resolutions, and system changes accurately.
Collaborate with IT team members to maintain reliable day-to-day operations.
Perform system upgrades and assist with technical improvements.
Maintain appropriate security standards across the IT environment.
Complete assigned technical tasks while maintaining system stability.

Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.

Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to team capability.
Communicate technical information clearly and professionally to users, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively to resolve technical concerns and develop practical solutions.
