Optimal Growth Technologies in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT) to plan, execute, and deliver medium to large-scale IT projects within scope, budget, and deadlines. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and report to senior leadership.

The role requires strong technical understanding, familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, and a proven track record in delivering enterprise software, infrastructure, or cloud projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise IT projects (software, infrastructure, cloud).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and IT systems, networks, or applications.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with goals.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes.
• Ensure governance, documentation, and reporting standards are met.
• Coordinate with architects, developers, testers, vendors, and business units.
