Job summary

Performit Personnel in Port Elizabeth is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead critical technology initiatives that drive growth and efficiency. You will steer complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years' experience in IT and logistics project management, strong planning and risk management skills, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. PMP or PMI-ACP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in IT and logistics project management.
• Proven expertise in project planning, coordination and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to Have: PMP or PMI-ACP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate project implementation, monitor progress and manage risks.
• Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure flexible and structured project execution.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Drive special projects that support strategic business initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to report on project status and gather requirements.
