Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver medium to large IT projects within scope, time, and budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and ensure governance and reporting standards are met.

The role requires a strong technical background, expertise in SDLC, and familiarity with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise IT projects (software, infra, cloud).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and IT systems.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and large teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Define scope and deliverables aligned to goals.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Provide governance, reporting, and dashboards to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams including architects and developers.
