Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking an IT support professional in Pietermaritzburg to handle helpdesk tickets, provide phone support to clients, and deliver remote and on-site assistance. The role includes maintaining activity reports and timekeeping for the line manager, plus servicing and configuring PCs, servers, and network gear.

You will collaborate with system engineers on research and deployment of new solutions and oversee rollout projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve tickets on the helpdesk within stipulated timeframes
• Provide telephonic support to clients
• Provide first and possibly second line support remotely and on site
• Maintain reports on all activities and time keeping to line manager
• Servicing, repair, configuration of PCs, servers, and network equipment
• Assisting with research and implementation of solutions for new products and service offerings along with other system engineers
• Rollouts of new installations, network upgrades, projects.
