Job description

FEM is offering a 12-month IT Internship within its Information Technology Department.*The internship provides practical experience in cloud infrastructure, network administration, cybersecurity, systems administration, and IT support.*Interns will work alongside experienced IT professionals while developing technical and professional skills through real-world projects.*

Responsibilities

• Support daily IT operations and end-user technical support.
• Assist with Service Desk operations.
• Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities.
• Assist with Systems Administration tasks.
• Gain exposure to Cloud Infrastructure management.
• Help with system documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in system updates and asset auditing.
• Assist with automation scripting and other operational projects.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, computer hardware, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 (Linux or macOS knowledge is an advantage).
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS, and local networking.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
