Placements24 is seeking a reliable Help Desk Administrator in Bloemfontein to oversee the IT support function and ticketing system. You will be the primary contact for IT queries, coordinate ticket resolution, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.

You will install and maintain hardware and software, support users, and document procedures for the internal knowledge base. A strong service mindset and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Administrator or similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, OS (Windows/macOS) and basic networking.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IT help desk ticketing system, assign tickets, track progress, ensure timely resolution.
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates for performance and security.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Document IT procedures, solutions, and user guides for the knowledge base.
